Wallboard or plasterboard is a flat seam of gypsum,
sandwiched between lining paper. It is used extensively
for stud partitions and ceilings. It has a grey
face for plastering, and an ivory face for painting/decorating.
Tapered edge boards can be flush filled. A foilback
board is available from stock where moisture may
be present, fire resistant board is also available
and is distinguished by its pink colour
